PAPERSKY : Sounds from Shimanami
A collage of soundscapes paired with Mayumi Yamase’s paintings, inspired by snapshots of Shimanami. In all four tracks, “Makino” by Dave Sinclair was sampled to create an overarching drone. Listening to these soundscapes in sequence creates a sonic journey that passes by these sceneries.
